Hello lovely readers! October is turning out to be quite a busy month here at TM!
We kicked off with our Boycott Your Bed challenge on the 7 October, where our team slept out in Trinity Square Gardens to raise awareness for vulnerable children. We are pleased to announce that we have smashed our £1,000 target and are still going! We are incredibly grateful for any contributions made and there’s still time to sponsor us, just visit our JustGiving page.
Next up, we have the pharmacy event of the year (other than the RoE’s, of course) – it’s the return of The Pharmacy Show! We would love it if you all came by to say hello to us at our stand F45. I will also be chairing the Trailblazers panel at the Keynote Theatre at 5pm on the Sunday, so make sure you come by to listen to some exciting conversations and new innovations.
Looking back, we just visited the House of Commons to attend the annual Independent Pharmacy Awards, more of which you can read about on the page opposite. I was delighted to see the inclusion of the new Pharmacy Technician of the Year category. As ever, it was a pleasure to speak to the well-deserving finalists and hear about their achievements and fantastic stories – they continue to fill us with hopefulness and light as we head into winter.
